EXECUTIVE DEVELOPMENT
- December 3-7, 2018
Prerequisite: First-Line Supervision and Management Development training programs.
Course Description: This school focuses on areas in which the chief executive officer is responsible. Topics include leadership challenges, policy development, human resource topics, the link between the organization and the environment, legal aspects of police administration, ethical leadership, financial management, the importance of the discipline process and leading organizational change.
Who Should Attend: This course is designed for the administrative/management employee of a criminal justice agency. Patrol employees attending this class should be a lieutenant or higher or in an equivalent civilian position.
Tuition/Registration Fees: Registration fees are due by the first day of class. If fees are not paid in full prior to completion of class, certificates and continuing education hours will not be issued unless payment is received.
Cost:
- $450 - tuition, meals, and lodging
- $265 - tuition and meals
Continuing Education Hours:
- 24 hours of Technical Studies
- 6 hours of Interpersonal Perspectives
- 5 hours of Legal Studies
